Subscribing to the Class Mailing List:

To subscribe to the class mailing list, you must have a computer

account and access to Electronic Mail. If you do not have an

e-mail account, bring your GMU ID to Thompson Hall Room 3 to have

an account set up.

1. Log in to your e-mail account and invoke mail.

2. To subscribe to the class mailing list, send an e-mail message

TO:

listproc@gmu.edu

3. Type the following line as the message text:

subscribe EDIT750 (full name)

where (full name) is your Full Name.

Please do not put a "space" between the "EDIT" and the "750"

For example, for Johnny Doe to subscribe to the EDIT750 class

list, he would send mail to: listproc@gmu.edu

with the following mesesage text:

subscribe EDIT750 Johnny Doe

4. Send the mail message.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your subscription to the

list. By subscribing to the list, you will receive messages sent

to the class list. You can also send messages to other subscribers

of the list.

Sending a Message to all Subscribers of Your Class List:

To send an e-mail message to all subscribers of the list, send

the message TO:

EDIT750@gmu.edu

Please remember not to put a "space" anywhere in this address.
